There is no difference, NUMERIC and DECIMAL are synonyms: decimal and numeric (Transact-SQL) | Microsoft Docs[^]

I have already gone through that link you shared and I tried to insert the 0.1 value to NUMERIC(1,1) I am confused that is reason I posted here could you please tell me one example for NUMERIC(1,1)
