How to search exact string "***" in eclipse

I have to search the string *** in eclipse...if I do ctrl +h it's searching all the occurrences like in comment and not exact ly same "***"....I have to search it in Java files.please help

What I have tried:

Ctrl plus h in eclipse with file search option

Solution 1

You specified search for "***" so that is what it will do. If that construct exists in a comment than it will find that just the same as if it exists anywhere else. See also https://help.eclipse.org/kepler/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.platform.doc.user%2Ftasks%2Ftasks-84.htm[^].
