CountRows in SSRS

Can We use CountRows Function in Page Header or Page Footer in SSRS?Because when i'm using Count function in Page Header,Its working fine, but when i'm using the Same with CountRows Its Giving error like "CountRows Cannot be used in page headers or footers "

Solution 1

As error states, you cannot put aggregate methods in header or footer!

Alternative though can be to put a hidden field in body of report doing the same and then access that control in header/footer.
