image control showing only generic icon

When i upload any image and set its url to some image control only generic icon is displayed. Please help me out to solve this problem.

Well, either the image URL isn't really set correctly after all or perhaps it's in an unknown format. Please provide some sample code.

The URL for the image is not set correctly. However, without seeing any code there is no way to give more of a definitive answer.
