Dear Sir;

I've tried to change my MAC Id on my NIC using different ways such as different softwares and even direct change on windows registry.
my problem is, I'm using a licensed software which is the license is based on MAC address. it was installed on my previous machin that failed. So I bought the new one and now I want to install the software on it. the problem is when I change the MAC Id on the new machin, the license intry utility, does not recognize the changed MAC Id but knows the original one. As I said, I've tried different way butt not working.
I've heard that there is a possibility to change the MAC Id using NIC firmware updater software. and it will change it permanently like original one.

Is it true? if so, from where can I find it? Or is there any other way to change the MAC Id?

Thank you very much
Sasha

Im afraid to do this would be breaching your license agreement, and deriving software developers of their income. i suggest you go away and buy a legal license of the software. It was probably licensed in this way for a reason. Changing your MAC address is impossible due to the way network addressing works.
