I'm interested in understanding whether the Ultimate Grid libraries are subject to US export control (EAR) and if so under which ECCN they are classified

Thanks for the help.

I know the authors are Canadian, but a laywer told me that if US components are used there is still the possibility that the code is subject to US export control.

Since the authors are Canadian (if you mean The Ultimate Grid Home Page[^]) so it is unlikely that they would be under US export controls (Canada was a separate nation last time I looked).

However, if you want to be really, really sure, then at the bottom of the article there is a "New Message" button which will send the authors an email directly. They will be able to answer more accurately than anyone else here!
