MS Office Automation Library for C# winform app

I'm working on a winform app that creates an Excel 2003 document and a PowerPoint 2003 file. I am currently working with the office COM but find it slow and not always straight forward. I am looking for suggestions for third party libraries or plugins that can speed up development.

http://www.aspose.com/[^], they have a number of components for working with Office related stuff.
