I am planning to build a http proxy.
I want to extend its use to do something useful and new.
Please suggest what I could do!

Imagine you work at big corporation where the management decided to block some sets of HTTP sites for the employees (instead of making everyone interested in their work and firing all the ballast). This is stupid. You can can demonstrate that brain is stronger than the power of the weak-minded. You can launch a proxy outside company which could translate all HTTP requests to outside Internet to make it accessible from within such companies. How about that?
