Kundali match making algorithm

Hi All

We are working on an application which is also having a feature of Astrology and horoscope section.
in this section kundali match making will be done.
i have searched google but haven't got any idea.
can anyone give us an idea for its algorithm or sample source code.

As astrology is a pseudoscience (false science), no algorithm will help, no reason to try :-)

but still there are websites and softwares availble online for kundali match making so in same way we need these algo and yes a big number of people is there who believe in this pseudoscience and make their decisions accordingly :)

I don't think there is an algorithm as such. You need to understand the rules of the subject and how charts are drawn up to match the user's questions. I would suggest your local library or bookshop is the place to start.

Astrology is a complete science, learning it takes years. There is no shortcut to learn it by google. You need to go step by step to learn the fundamentals. I dont think you will get an algorith online just like that. It is something that only astrology professor can tell you. Please contact them :thumbsup:

I just had to counter that downvote with a 5+.

While I strongly disagree with the first sentence of your answer we still have to acknowledge that astrology is composed of a complex rule set and albeit none of the rules are in any way scientifically based it was a subject of serious study in earlier times. Since one is still able to study things today like theology we might as well give credit to astrology as well.

(And yes I do know the difference between astronomy and astrology).
