Guys,

Anyone knows about an 'Clickable Map Based Online Journey Planner' and this is where I'm going to work on and wanted some support & assistance.

I'm searching for all sorts of suitable algorithms to get the shortest path from Location A to Location B on a Map. If anyone knows anything about it or worked on it, then kindly let me know.
Here I'm looking for an ImageMap Technique, which should contain Hotspots for all stations on a Tube Map.

Later when we select any 2 Hotspots, it should automatically show the shortest path, fares information, etc.

I'm looking for an similar clickable map which is already implemented by Hong Kong Metro http://www.mtr.com.hk/jplanner/flash_eng/index.php[^].

This is actually an information about journey planning of [Tube] routes, and allowing users to select a stations on a Map, and actual function is to pick a quickest or shortest route from Station A to Station B. The required changes on the selected route should be displayed by text and fare messages should be provided as well.

Data capturing from an active map is the actual focus of this work. The best path calculation could be based on several criterion like Shortest or Quickest Path Finder.
