Sql server 2005 services in administrative tools?

hi,my sql server 2005 connection is failed,but when i want to start that in administrative tools,i receive such message:"Sql services started and then stopped,if you have not work to do ,for example,alerts and performance logs".So please help me, i dont know what do i should to do?i want to start that immediatly. thnx

I can only suggest that you investigate the logs, which will, hopefully, give more clues.
