Hi,

I want to use Crystal Reports in my web application. I have downloaded and installed SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework 4, but when I try to add a Crystal Report file in my project, Visual Studio takes me to a page where I can download the installation package once again. Is there something I should do to link Visual Studio and Crystal Reports?

Thanks in advance :)

It is not clear what you mean by 'add a Crystal Report file'.

Are you adding a reference?
Are you trying to do this in code?
Please explain.

I'm trying to add the file via the Add New Item dialog.

You should install the Full package, the runtime is just for the clients.
