How to achieve AsynPostBack from a SELECT command in a GridView which is inside update panel ?

Solution 1

Just put the Gridview inside updatepanel and all the gridview operations will occur async (including select.)

OR

You can set an AsyncPostBackTrigger for an UpdatePanel with select link button field from an GridView control.

Did you try that? What issue you got?

Agree....... Actually I did same,
Thought to post answer for my own question.......And turn out to be you have already mentioned similar solution....!!!! :)

I used, AsyncPostBackTrigger and EventName "SelectedIndexChanged"
