Sql server uses 98 CPU at Task manager.

Dear friends,

I have hosted a website(using vb.net with sqlserver). it is running well but the problem is that, at hosted system the cpu users for sql in a task manager is increases abnormally it site get slow And i am unable to know the how it is happening.

If you have any idea please help me.

Solution 1

Most likely you are having some infinite loop in your vb.net code.
So check check your code... I guess it will resolve the problem.

Solution 2

You need to check the Sql server settings.
I may need to limit the number of processors allowed for the sql server.
If you have some heavy queries then the sql server might use all available processors.
