How to do a barcode generator in .net

Hi all,
I am going to develop a bar code generator, but I don't have any idea sofar how to go about that so please give me some ideas. (Some sample projects would be nice too).

Since you weren't very specific about what kind of bar code you need have a look here into this CP article: GenCode128 - A Code128 Barcode Generator[^].

And there's even an article on CP. It's in C# though and I don't know if it is Ok to confront OP with such a challenge.
