Hi All,

I am recently having a requirement that in my document library there are lists of reports get stored daily in PDF formats.Now the client wants to provide an option like "From Date" and "To Date" , after selecting these dates reports between these days should be displayed in Doc library.

How can I achive this ?

He is asking for a search functionality. or am I missing something?

You seem to be describing creating a view that filters by date. Although the view could be edited for each occasion a more convenient method would be to create a custom web part with this functionality
