Zebra 2844 printing problem

We used Crystal Reports (Mailing labels)for printing labels. Then send them to Zebra TLP2844, it prints first label okay. But afterwords it creates gap from top margin. And the gap increases next label to label. After some labels it starts printing in multiple pages. Kindly help. Thanks in advance.

May I suggest your page dimensions are not correct.

I have taken Paper size as Label 3.00x2.00 and Margins as T-0.1,B-0.1,L-0.15 and R-0.05. Please suggest.

Suggest what? All you can do is ensure the dimensions that you specify are the exact ones for the paper you are using. If this still does not work then there may well be a problem with the printer.

Does Zebra print in multiple black and white strips?

No, Zebra is printing Labels correctly. My problem is after each Label the gap between two Labels increases and after some time single Label comes on two different pages. I need help about this. Thanks.

Solution 1

I would suggest you to first check the print preview of the Crystal Report.
Next check the paper size should be as set in Crystal Report page setup.
Next check the drivers for the printer are correctly installed.

Try calibrating the printer as viewed in the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mD7nrSsyp7s[^]

If all fails, call the printer support and sue him :D

Thanks Amit for your reply.
1) I have checked Print preview and it is correct Labels.
2) At the time of printing I am selecting Zebra as a printer and Label size as 3.00x2.00 which is same as Crystal Report.
3) I have got CD of Zebra TLP2844 printing and I installed drivers from CD directly. So drivers are correct.
So I am not geeting where it is going wrong?
