I have created a web site in my local IIS 7.5, which points to a VS2010 C# web application project root. Now, when I try and get VS to use that site for debugging, I get told that the URL is not configured, etc. VS offers me the option of creating a virtual folder, but this fails if I accept it, saying the URL is already in use or something.

This setup has worked, and I only get this problem every so often, at seemingly random times, after doing a 'get latest' etc. The host name is in my hosts files, and I can ping it, and the web site even works if I use the url in a browser, not through VS. What could be wrong here?
