Hi,

I am using qt and I want to implement a wifi scanner for qt capable device that scans and lists the ip addresses of the nodes that are connected on the wlan interface....
alternatively u can think that m trying to implement something like network map in windows 7 for qt capable device...
but the confusion is m not understanding which protocl to use for getting the ip addresses of nodes...
I am trying to ping the broadcasr address...but it's not wrking for me?

Is there anyother alternative? should I use snmp?
