Classic Shell Menu Problem

My OS is Win 7 Pro 32 bit with SP1 and all updates have been installed.

When I open a folder none of the icons to the right of the Classic Shell icon,or the Classic Shell icon itself, show anything when I hover the mouse over them, and if I click any of them nothing happens.

All three add ons in Internet Explorer 9 have been enabled.

Also, when I open a sub folder the window still jumps to the bottom of the list after I close the sub folder.

I would greatly appreciate advice as to how to sort this problem out.

Not clear. What is "Classic Shell icon", exactly? Shell is shell; it's not a program but part of API. What are those add-ons?..

Hello SAKryukov, I am talking about the program Classic Shell.Doesn't that mean anything to you or other members? If not I have obviously been directed to the wrong website, in which case I apologise.
