menu items in the did not shift accordingly

I have VS2010..Here is my issue...

I took a menu in a

...I changed the property orientation to 'horizontal'...then i increased the width of menu control tool to 100%.....but to my surprise, the main menu items in the did not shift accordingly...please help..

can you please attach the image of your menu so that it can be rectified,
by they way set its property to float =left; in css.

other wise attach the screen short.
