i tried by adding a form with cancel button which is called as showdialog() but this form does not return control back to login page unless the ok button is pressed on this showdialog form

You can use anything you like, but it may not be the solution to your problem. The first thing to do is to explain more clearly what your actual problem is, and, as I suggested previously, add some code to help us understand.
