You need thesis for a thesis? Are you expecting us to do your research for you?

What you're asking for is not facts, but somones opinion. That's not good for a thesis paper.

This is where YOU research the sharpening algorithms you can, and determine which is the most current based on the information YOU gather.

I'll give you a hint. Your question doesn't have a definitive answer. That are standard algorithms and then there are modified algorithms and those that have been modified for a specific purpose. If you found 10 variations of an algo, which of those is the "lastest"?? Does they even qualify for the status of "latest"??
