usercontrol for gridview asp.net

i want usercontrol that display drop down of page size ,total no of pages,and page no dropdown so it directly go that page. i dont want page size from database instead of that i want page size from gridview according to number of record. any one help please thanx in advance

Solution 1

Well get the record count of the datasource to the grid view. This should give you the total number of records you have displayed in the gridview.

If you are using paging, then maybe this thread[^] can help you.

this is bad idea because i have to take another method to count record from database so it is nice to count no of rows of data table and then assgin according to that.please help in more thanks
