First, you have to get a dashboard. The only dashboard I've got experience with is the one in a 65-68 Mustang. They're pretty easy to get out of the car since they're relatively small and aren't attached to the padded dash cover. When you remove all the retaining screws (there are five), pull the dashboard toward you gently, and unplug the wiring loom.

Now that you have the dashboard, you can report to someone that cares.
