Export to excel functionality needs Ms office to be installed?

Hi All,

I'm using excel object library to export data to excel and immediately to display the same data to user. To work this, Do I need to have MS office installed on my machine? or If I just add the dll to my project thats fine?

Please help..

Solution 1

Yes , if you are using Microsoft.Interop.Excel then it requires excel to be installed.

But you can use This[^] to resolve your issue.
