The message filter indicated that the application is busy Error while automation of VS2005 project creation

Im creating a project/soln using automation object ENVDTE in VS2005.
Im able to add files to project and it works fine.
But the problem comes when i add large number files(like more 1000 files(.c and .h)) to the project it gives me the error he message filter indicated that the application is busy .
Any possbile reasons for this error.

As of now i have introduced a large delay abt 10000 ms .It is working.
