Combo box dropdownlist text visible

Hi all,

I wonder why a DropDownList combobox style is unable to wrote any text on it. In DropDown style, we could place a text like "please choose" but in DropDownList is not like that. Could someone tell me why this happen and if there any possibility to place a text, could someone tell me. Tq

Solution 1

Thats what the use of DropDownList style of ComboBox.
DropDownList style does not allow to edit text. while other two allows.
