Export Excel - Display as formatted text instead of htm tags

Hi,
For my requirement, i have to upload multiple dataset to excel and display data with proper controls (eg: Allow to modify data using dropdown control). Some column may have html data(ie, "<ul><li>Test</li></ul>"). For those column instead of showing html node it has to be displayed as formatted text. Can anyone help me to show the cell value as formatted text instead of html tags.
