but it works in local what can be wrong ?

Explain? have you developed a site on your PC, but when you uploiad the site to a web server it doesn't work?

check version of ajax toolkit dll on ftp is same as your local folder...

my server has ASP.NET 2 AJAX Extension 1.0
and i use ajax toolkit 4.0
whats wrong ?

I've had the same problem a while ago. Then, i figured it out that,the server hasn't installed .NET 3.5 Service Pack 1.

the server was updated to .net 4.0 but the update was not completely correct so they send me on a server which has .net 4.0 which was complete one.
