Need the tool for test data generation

Hi friends,
I need to generate large amount of data in csv format for testing purpose.
I have specific requirement about data to be generated.

for e.g.

I want to create data in the format like AMIT001 to AMIT250 or like that. In short I could gave input format to that tool.

your suggestions on this are appreciated
