How to create separate database in share point?

I was created registration page using asp.net, that page integrated to share point server. when we execute that page(registration)in share point server that values stored to separate database. How to create database in share point(2010). I need to create database for registration page.

Can any one help me!!

There is no magic to it. An external database can be created just you would with any non-SharePoint based application. You could exposed the external database through the BCS as an external list or you could use standard ADO.NET data access techniques. Where and how to store the connection strings would be the problem
