I have completed a project and it is hosted; but suppose I want to change some pages. For that time I want to stop my project and during that period people who will open that project only can see a static page. After the changes are complete they can see the working pages.

Please help me in ASP.NET. I think it must be in the Web.config file.

Any solution; Please help me as soon as you can. immediately.

Thanks.

Asking for an immediate response is RUDE! This is a volunteer site and people will answer on there time, not yours

add a App_Offline.htm on the root of your project... reference is here...

http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2005/10/06/426755.aspx[^]

alternatively, it can be done in IIS settings too..

its called, "To redirect all requests to a single file, in IIS"
the referrence is here...

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/WindowsServer2003/Library/IIS/6b855a7a-0884-4508-ba95-079f38c77017.mspx?mfr=true[^]

mark as answer if solves your oroblem... it motivates :)
