how to use array to write a game of hex

i have no idea on how to write this program

it requires me to use at least 5 functions and 2 of the function should use the array.

the diamond game board with size 11x11
2 players play alternatively
the first player: O
the second player: X

can anyone give me the general idea?

What's the question? ...you have to get more specific with what you need help with. Broad questions that reek of homework generally don't get a good response.

This is not an answerable question. "Can anyone..." is not a valid question. Someone could of course (did you doubt?).

You should have referred this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_of_Hex[^].

It does not look like you can explain the rules by yourself. It does not look like you are able to thing from the standpoint of your reader when you ask something. It does look like a homework you don't want or cannot do by yourself. You did not even bother to tell your platform, libraries, any requirements like UI.

If this is a homework, the answer is: we do not help cheating.
If this is not a homework, the answer is: we do not develop projects to order. It's unlikely that anyone could be interested to do this pretty boring work for you.

Such questions do not belong here. We help software developers and students. Please try to understand this.
