Hi folks,

I tried to send an Email from SQL Server 2005 but it give me error that:


SQL
The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. 
(Sending Mail using Account 2 (2011-11-26T01:43:21). 
Exception Message: Could not connect to mail server. (No such host is known).

When i apply like in the first link it give me that error:
The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 3 (2011-11-26T02:47:27). Exception Message: Cannot send mails to mail server. (The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. d19sm23434281fam.21).

Did you verify your port number is same as that provided in your email providers settings?
