The question is maybe very interesting but is completely off-topic. Are you interested in the history of development and getting some new ideas? Excellent, but it's almost pointless to ask it here.

You need to clarify your question a bit more. Do you mean: How do I create a google map in my application?, or How was the google maps application created?, or How do I use google maps?
All 3 of these will have very, very different answers.

Although you are not clear with your question!

But If you want to develop the Google maps then this might help [^] you to develop the Maps(Stepwise)[^]

But In general if you want development history for enhancement of your General Knowlege then this is the Google Maps Development History (2005-2008)[^] & (2009-2012)[^]

If Problem is about history? Then Try to Google yourself and ask only Technical Questions here.
