accessing ASP.NET website using Domain Name on LAN

i deployed a ASP.NET website on IIS server. i'm able to access the website from other machine on LAN only using ip address but not DOMAIN name..
How do i access the site using DOMAIN name instead of ip address???

How it is a C#,ASP.Net Question, it's purely related to IIS.

Hi frnd,

i need some clarification:

1) if you want to manage domain in LAN network then you have to install DNS Server and DNS Manager. in your local LAN Network.
2) then you have to Create a Domain name and assign the IP Address of your IIS server .
3) if you do not have a DNS Server then you can not create a Domain name or you can not able to run your application using any Domain name within you name.
