snapshot videos when uploading

i want to snapshot my video when uploading it
i search on internet i found ffmpeg is used
i use that code but it doesn't do anything
& i don't know even where it save that images
can anybody help me
with regards

What do you mean by snapshot? Forget ffmpeg for a moment; what you want to achieve? Describe it in detail, use "Improve question" above.

what i mean is when uploading video i wnat to take some pictures from that video to be dir to uses before download video
