I have downloaded the source code and executables of the simple version resource tool.How can I install the tool and how to use it? i want to change the file version number of the executable file(.exe)

Please guide me to do that.

Solution 1

Load the project file in VS and build the project.
If you look in the project properties, you will find the version info under "Assembly Information..."
