connect to internet via router

just installed a router and i found out that my dialup software does not work through the router to connect to the internet. how and where do i start to be able to manually connect and disconnect the internet connect via router. thanks.

i might have described my problem incorrectly.
before i installed a router i have a vb code to connect to the internet using shell rasdial. now with router i have to go to 192.168.... then from there click connect to be able to use the internet.

Why would you use dialup software with a rooter? Why disconnecting it?

Please explain the connection between dialup software and VB.NET, or routers and VB.NET.

Solution 1

This has nothing to do with VB.NET. This is entirely a configuration problem with your router and your internet service provider.
