nokia X2-00 AT commands

Hello sir i can able to send the sms using AT commands in nokia X2-00 mobile. But my aim to read the sms from the phone. If I typed the read command, it will shows error,
AT+CMGR=1
ERROR

This only I got. But I can able to send the sms. Can you please tell the solution for this.
