Running total of running total

Hello ,
I am facing one problem regarding calculating summary total of one formula field which itself contains one running total field in it. These both formula fields are in different groups.
I have tried to pass the value by taking running total via global,shared variable in other sections but this was unsuccessful attempt.
Can anyone please give me the needfull solution?
