Progress bar in web application

Hi all,

I am developing a web application in which i am uploading an image to server.This process take some time to upload image on server.I want to show progress bar when i m clicking on upload button it will show progress how much data is uploaded.
and also i want to show a numeric value in % how much process is completed.
I am using wcf service in my application which returns bool value after uploading image.

How to do this- progress bar?
