Dynamic updates in J2EE

i have a struts2 j2ee application. i need a dynamic updates section in my site where in i can post news/ updates. these updates can be text messages and/or links to detail pages. the detail pages may also contain attachments. my application should have the functionality to CRUD updates through front end. my application uses oracle db. Do i need a cms for this or is there any other way.

if you are using hibernate ,then SaveorUpdate method is there,
you can use, please share you link then we can Easy rectify the problem.

Thanks for ur answer. the application doesnt use hibernate. the site is not hosted on public ip. so cannot provide u the link. i want functionality like the news update of this site http://www.cgglobal.com/index.aspx[^] though. Once again thaks for u answer
