google api for finding stores

i am developing one application ...in that i need to add google api so please guide me how to achieve this...i have one link like
http://maps.google.com/maps/api/geocode/xml?address={0}&sensor=false

but when i open this i can only see what and all places are there...i need the api with link like this which has to show my locations...please help me to implement this
