hello there this is a very newbie question, and i didn't find the answer yet, am running windows 7 OS , i have cygwin terminal installed, and am writing a code in vb to run cygwin in hide mode and ask it to perform certain files, can you help me writing the command to run cygwin in hide mode , i'll be realy very thanked,( i know that i can type shel(.....) for cdm but i don't know the code for cygwin) thanks alot for your help as always.

I have no idea what cygwin is...but I think what you are really asking for is what "command line arguments" will make cygwin run in hide mode. For that you might be able to find something on google.[^] Or even better, if you can find documentation or support for the cygwin terminal, they will hopefully have a list of the arguments somewhere for you. Hope this helps you get your search started.
