Download Error in aspx page (ASP.NET)

I have a website. A day ago I have put a "*.rar" file for downloading. Now, the download failed and throws error like this:
"Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine."
However, the download was working good for other data types (images).
did someone experienced error like this?

There could be any of 100s of reasons for this. The best course of action is to find out what the actual error is. Look at the log files, turn on the remote errors, debug.
