Adding images in XML

Hello Guys,

How to add images/pix in XML?
I mean is there any way to insert images, as its in HTML, <img> tag. Is there any way to add images in XML?

Solution 1

XML is is not used as a medium to be displayed directly. As a result, you cannot embed images inside it (for display).
You can however use xml to store an image url or even an image in byte or any other format.

Abhinav, So can you tell me what approach i should adopt to display images. As i am developing a blog in asp.net containing Articles. And i am storing those articles in XML files.My articles include images. Is there any alternative approach to do that? I am new in web.
