Chinese & Japanese letters are displaying as boxes

Hi,

I have developed my application using Device Description Language. I have supported for 7 languages. For Russian, Portuguese, and German languages, letters are displaying correctly in charts, but for Chinese and Japanese languages, it is showing up as boxes.

I don't have any idea how to fix this issue?

Please please help me. I am struggling a lot.

Solution 1

You will need to update the font on your device to a font that has the Chinese and Japanese characters (unicode).

Windows applications use unicode fonts by default, make sure your text is unicode also.
