enable disable textbox which is in grid

Hi Programmers,

I am facing an issue in my application.
In a grid 2 controls Textbox and check box are there based on the checked event the textbox should be enable or disable.
The textbox default property of Enable = false

the problem is i wrote a javascript it works fine for just fraction of seconds only after that again text box is disabled.(problem is the grid is in Update Panel)
